The Westside Provisions District store has a wonderful array of modern and contemporary furniture of very high quality by leading designers and manufacturers. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. We were just browsing but were so impressed we ended up buying a bedroom set consisting of platform bed frame, chest of drawers and night tables on sale for 25% off. Delivery was prompt. The furniture is constructed of beautiful solid walnut (made in Malaysia). Delivery and assembly by RXO Atlanta was outstanding.

Please heed the warnings of the other customers listed here. I purchased the complete Pallisade set, table, chairs, lounge chairs and poolside loungers…about 15k. I spent a lot because I wanted something that would last and even sent my daughter in to buy the same thinking we would have these forever. I saw a mark on the table that was a ring where the paint had lifted from the finish. I was told by customer service that I was just out of warranty and that “wet drinks” are not recommended…well, hello, it’s an outside table and we live in Georgia…so after resigning myself to out of warranty I asked how to repair and they recommended pant, method etc. please see pics for how the paint looks horrible. Terrible customer service from assistant manager Alisa….didn’t go out of her way to try to solve paint discrepancy. I will say Camerin from corporate office really tried but now I’m left with this…will never step into store again or refer anyone. I’m sad and disappointed in a company I once loved.

Arrived during business hours but DWR was closed for a mid day meeting. No worries, we thought, we will just wait. They end up being closed for 50 min during the work day...which is 20 min longer than the sign said was supposed to happen. Just locked in there staring at us mid day on a Tuesday.

The guy inside put a sticky note on the door with his cell phone number to text us to go get some ice cream while we waited?!?

When we finally got inside, they showed us some chairs but never sent us a quote or invoice. Ended up purchasing elsewhere. Wasted our lunch break.

Unprofessional. Shop elsewhere.

I had a horrendous experience with a salesperson at the west side provisions location. He spoke to me condescendingly and gave my wife and inaccurate lead times and delivery dates. When I explained to him that I’m quite experienced with furniture production and that it’s unusual for items to go on ‘backorder’ a month before the delivery date after placing the order months ago. He explained that he’s “just relaying what I’ve been told”. It seems the customer experience is not a priority at Design Within Reach. I will simply shop elsewhere. Ten years ago when ordering furniture from there the experience was much more professional.

Read all the reviews on here before placing an order and then decide if you really do want to have an experience like everyone else has experienced! I worked with Elva Nitereka to place my order. I would not recommend working with her. Following up with her was difficult. It took 3 deliveries and of course ran way past the delivery date specified (again a common thread from the reviews!) Items arrived damaged and it wasn't easy to get replacements. Working with Elva and other team members at the ATL store such as James was not pleasant. If I were to do it again I would purchase furniture elsewhere. That said too having had the furniture for longer than 6 months the quality is sub par for the price we paid for it. Any of my friends who ask about the furniture and compliment it I tell them my experience with DWR and how I would not recommend ordering through them and how we won't sadly purchase anything else through them because of the experience we had.

We had a most outstanding experience despite a 3-hour drive to get there. The store was convenient, once we got to Atlanta, and had all of the bedroom and living room pieces we were interested in seeing. Nico did a fantastic job listening to our ideas/needs and finding solutions that we are very excited about having in our home. Moreover, he helped us avoid some design mistakes that would have resulted had we just relied upon the website. I would highly recommend the store and Nico.

Ordered a large chandelier, took 5 weeks for delivery, arrived in a box that looked like it had been dropped from a high rise, was all damaged (of course) so I refused the delivery, took days for DWR to confirm it was in their possession.
To replace it, no way to rush at all…
”sorry”. My project was going to be complete and electrician would have to return later for additional cost…”sorry”. So, I had to cancel the order and choose another chandelier. It’s been three weeks and THEY HAVE STILL NOT REFUNDED MY MONEY, even after multiple inquiries…”sorry”. I will never patronize this store again, nor recommend it to anyone. Worst service ever!

I bought a Herman Miller office chair from Design Within Reach. Great chair. Love it. A little pricey, but that's what nice furniture costs these days. What disappoints me: I'm not a high roller, but after purchasing an expensive chair, I would think that someone would send me an email or (gasp) call to see if I'm satisfied with my purchase. Nope. Not a peep from the Design Within Reach team.

I'm not saying you should buy elsewhere. Some of the products they sell you can't get locally elsewhere. I'm merely saying I expected this store to ask if I was happy with my purchase. Had they called, I might have bought something else right away. I do need some outdoor furniture...
